A Note from the Principal
We are starting to see the illness trends decrease and students coming back, ready to tackle the day. We understand how hard it can be to make the decision to send them or not, so we appreciate everyone doing their part to make the best decsion for your child. Let's hope all the germs are gone and Springtime will make it stay that way.
Thank you to everyone that helped out at our Valentine's Day parties and participated in our Family Music Bingo Night. Both events were so much fun and helped to promote our family-friendly community events. Our PTO is a HUGE factor in our school community, and we would hope you can spend some time with us, learning about what all they provide for our students and staff. Sam Jones, our PTO president, works tirelessly to ensure our school is an engaging place for all. Reach out to her for more information about how you can be a part of this!
As we continually work to promote literacy for our students, we invite you to attend our March 4 Literacy Night! It plans to be a great time for all with a FREE MEAL from Johnna Mae's provided. We ask that you register for the event by February 26 so we can have enough food! Visit the school for fun and learning, as we have an overview of what our Title 1 program offers families in the district. Don't forget the Book Swap to receive a "New to Me" title!
Best Wishes,
Mrs. Ashley Kountz

TOO SICK FOR SCHOOL?
Transportation News!!!!
Transportation news:
Please make sure any transportation changes are submitted to the office by 2:00 PM to ensure your child is sent to the correct location after school. Afternoons in the office can be very busy, and timely notice helps us keep all students safe and accounted for.
Students who ride the bus may only ride the route to which they are assigned for safety reasons. If a student rides the same bus route as a friend, they may get off at a different stop along that same route with written parent approval. Students are not permitted to ride a different bus route.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
