Kiker Community,
What an incredible start to September! The energy in our building is undeniable and our halls are buzzing with excitement, big smiles, and the wonderful noise of students fully settling into their routines. I hope everyone enjoyed the restful, extra long weekend and had a chance to recharge with family and friends.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Back to School Nights last week! Seeing the lines stretching down the sidewalk was inspiring. We had an incredible turn out. We hope the evening gave you a clear picture of what to expect for the upcoming school year and helped you feel connected to our staff and community.
As we jump back into the swing of things, a quick reminder that our MAP testing window continues through this week. Our students have been working diligently, showing incredible focus, and doing a fantastic job showing what they know. We are so proud of their hard work!
This year I will continue our "Apps With Abrams" (AKA: Principal Coffee Chat) principal series and inviting guest speakers to visit! At this time I'd love to hear from you on topics of interest. Here's a short survey to share your suggestions. LINK HERE💙
📅Looking ahead at the calendar, please remember that there will be no school for students on September 21.
‼️🚲‼️We learned recently about some bikes being stolen at surrounding campuses and wanted to send a reminder to lock up bikes in the morning if that applies.
With gratitude,
Mrs. Abrams
