Discovery Families,

This week, our Trailblazers gathered for our PBIS Kickoff Assembly: Destination Discovery! This was the first time this school year that our entire school population came together in one space, making it a special opportunity to celebrate our school community and the exciting journey we have planned for the year ahead.

Our Destination Discovery assembly theme will take students on a new adventure each month as we “travel” to destinations that highlight important character skills. Along the way, we’ll make stops at places such as Perseverance Peak, Respectful Rapids, Gratitude Gardens and Friendship Falls. Each destination will give us an opportunity to focus on skills and character traits that help our Trailblazers grow.

And no flight would be complete without a little “in-flight entertainment!” Throughout the year, each grade level will have an opportunity to help lead an assembly and share a character lesson connected to our monthly destination. Our PBIS work is centered on reinforcing positive behaviors while creating a school environment where students celebrate one another and have FUN together!

We loved seeing all of our Trailblazers together for our first Destination Discovery assembly. Our journey has officially begun and we can't wait to see where this school year takes us!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Ali Parkinson - Principal

Mrs. Jodi Dodson - Associate Principal

When picking up your child at 3pm in the South Visitor Parking Lot, please pull into a designated parking space. Our staff are not able to pull out of their parking spot because of some parents who are parked behind cars, as they wait for their child to dismiss. Please note that there there is not a drive thru lane in the south parking lot. Thank you for your cooperation.
