Grace Hahn and Blake Phillippe got to participate in the Green Country honor band this past Saturday in Claremore. Students from 1A-6A schools competed back in November for a spot in this prestigious group. They got to perform a world-premier of Oklahoma composer Dr. Ed Huckeby’s. Congratulations to these amazing musicians!

Weekly Warrior Way winners are Mary Brueggan and Adalynn Stein. The rest of the winners include Dainiel Lacoe, Presley Shelby, Carsyn Elliott, Ike Newby, Rebecca Teed, Bentley Joyner, Logan Ramsey, Larayah O'Leary, and Todd Jackson. Great job students. Keep up the good work.

Each year, approximately hundreds of the best junior high school choral musicians in the state audition for the Oklahoma All-State Jr. High Chorus which is sponsored by the OkCDA . Selection as a member of this group is one of the highest music honors attainable in Oklahoma. Sara Kirk representing Adair High School was among the 250 singers selected to be a part of the 2024 All-State Mixed Chorus.
