Important Reminders:
Morning Arrival:
Doors open each day at 8:00 AM
Car riders may only be dropped off in the car rider line on the side of the building near the gym.
For safety, it is not allowed to drop your child off in the front parking lot.
If your child is eating school breakfast, please have them to school by 8:20 AM. This allows time to eat breakfast and the instructional day to begin at 8:40 AM.
🚸Crosswalk: There will be a staff member in the mornings at the crosswalk in front of the school connecting to the neighborhood. Be sure to follow the crosswalk rules, especially in a school zone.
**Check for the flashing lights and be sure you're not speeding so you may stop if a pedestrian needs to cross.
1. Georgia law requires drivers to stop and yield to people walking in crosswalks.
2. Drivers have to stop and stay stopped until the pedestrian has left their side of the road.
Afternoon Dismissal (3:20-4:00 PM):
🚗Car rider line: Anyone picking up a child in the car rider line must have a school issued car rider sign. If no sign is present, the adult will be asked to park, visit the office, and show ID before a child will be released for the day.

- Please do not leave large gaps between cars.
- Pay attention when it's time to move up.

NWEA MAP Assessment
Student's took the MAP assessment in Reading and Math last week!
The NWEA MAP assessment is a powerful tool that helps teachers and parents work together to ensure that each child is getting the personalized support they need to succeed.
- MAP assessments are administered three times a year—fall, winter, and spring. This schedule allows teachers to measure progress and adjust instruction throughout the school year.
If you have any questions about the MAP assessment or your child’s progress, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher or the school administration.
