GSACRD Faith Theme: Radiant Hope
Christian hope is not optimism or wishful thinking, but a theological virtue, rooted in God’s promises and sustained by the Holy Spirit.
This four-year plan draws on the mysteries of Christ’s life as a pathway for formation inviting our community not only to understand hope, but to live it deeply and visibly.
2026-27 Hope Begins - Encountering God’s Promise
2027-28 Hope Endures - Finding Strength in the Cross
2028-29 Hope Rises - Living the Promise Fulfilled
2029-30 Hope Shines - Witnessing Christ in the World
SCHOOL HOURS/REPORTING an ABSENCE
Parents are asked to notify the school using the SAFE ARRIVALS system when a child will be absent. Please visit our website for more info!
NUT SENSITIVE SCHOOL
With the passing of Bill 201 – Protection of Students with Life Threatening Allergies Act, all students with a serious or life -threatening medical condition must have a form on file in the school office indicating the condition and procedure in case of emergency.
To provide a safe and caring school for our students who have allergies, we require the cooperation of our families. We have students with severe life -threatening food allergies (anaphylaxis) to peanuts and all nut products. Please DO NOT send any items containing peanut butter or nut products in your child’s lunch or for classroom treats.
For the safety of all students, our school strongly suggests that children who are capable (typically ages 6–8 and older) carry their EpiPen on their person at all times. If a child is not old enough or unable to carry and/or administer their own EpiPen, we will work with family to create a plan to ensure it is always accessible. Parents who prefer that their child not carry their EpiPen will be asked to indicate where it will be kept at school, a form will be coming home to families next week. It is the parents’ responsibility to inform school of allergies and ensure that their child’s epi-pen has not expired.

School Council News
Welcome Back, BK Families,
Welcome back to all our BK families and students, and a special welcome to those who are new to our community! We’re excited for another great year together and look forward to our Welcome Back BBQ and more fun events throughout the year.
We Need You!
Every year, we say goodbye to families as their children move on, so we’re always looking for new helping hands! We are looking for TWO parent representatives from each class to join the School Council. Sign-up sheets will be available in classrooms at school supply drop-off.
We’re also looking for volunteers to help with events and activities throughout the year. Whether you can help regularly or just occasionally, every helping hand makes a difference!
