Reading Rockstars
Congratulations to Allyson Buesing and Landon Jones for receiving Mrs. Ariens' weekly 'Reading Rockstar of the Week" recognition. Allyson is friendly, kind, and is a positive presence in our Reading and Science classrooms. She quietly does what she needs to do. Congratulations, Allyson! Landon has such a great attitude in class. He always interacts with me and others with respect. He also takes responsibility for completing his work. Well done, Landon!
🥔Potato Olympics🥔
Potato Olympics in Mrs. Ariens” Science classes were a great success! Students enjoyed entering their “potato athlete” in 4 events: Potato Toss, Potato Roll, Potato Dance-Off, and Potato Bowling.
Our superintendent, Mr. Gehring, and Mrs. Reuss joined in the Potato Bowling competition. (Mr. Gehring scored a spare!😄 ). Some “athletes” took quite a beating, but no one gave up! It was an engaging way to celebrate the 2026 Winter Olympics.
Physical Education
Mr. Laughlin's PE classes just finished up a round robin tournament of Pickleball. This is a PE favorite at FCMS as students are learning the fundamentals of the sport and building positive relationships with their peers! Below you will find some class winners from the week!
Ryder Orschell and Logan Lambert
Connor Burton, Charlie Stenger, and Jaxon Summey
Brennan Berns and Fynn Back
Professional Development
Friday, students enjoyed a day off while teachers and staff attending professional development. This time is spent learning how to better serve our students.
