Pembroke Updates

Greetings Pembroke Families,

As we head into the Holiday Season, Schools Offer Support (SOS) is asking our community to support its Annual Season of Giving. The Season of Giving is a district-wide initiative that helps families in our BPS schools that need assistance with purchasing holiday gifts. Last year, with the generous help of the community, SOS supported 59 families (235 individual family members) from nearly every BPS school. A total of $23,500 in cash and gift cards was provided to families to assist with their holiday gift shopping.

SOS is collecting $25 Meijer and Target gift cards in the front office of all BPS schools through December 6. The gift cards will be distributed with wrapping paper and greeting cards to families in time for them to shop for their holiday gifts. Get all the details and sign up to donate gift cards here.

Our school shows its overwhelming generosity every year. With your help, SOS hopes to once again help families in our community with another successful Season of Giving!

If your family is in need this holiday season and would like to be considered to receive gift cards through the Season of Giving, please contact Elizabeth Sak (ESak@birmingham.k12.mi.us)

Sincerely,

Colleen Hoyne
