Hello DCS families,

I hope you have a had a great week. It has been a great one at DCS. The week started with an unexpected Egg Hunt at the Library. They had prepared the hunt for Saturday and hid over 500 eggs! They had to cancel due to the snow and DCS benefitted.

Students in all grades have been working on Earth Day posters to be on display at the Dublin Community Center in honor of Clean-Up Day this Saturday. Please stop by and take a look, they are beautiful! The week ended with a K-9 visit coordinated by teacher Kristen Garland. The students were wonderful during the performance. Enjoy the lovely weather this weekend before the bugs come out, Nicole

Dear parents,

As part of our commitment to providing the best possible support and resources for students receiving special education services, we invite you to participate in the annual Parent Involvement survey conducted by the New Hampshire Department of Education (NHED).

This brief survey is to gauge the level of parent involvement in our schools and how it contributes to improving services and outcomes for children with special education. The survey window is April 11, 2025 until May 23rd, 2025. All responses are anonymous.

To access the survey, visit this NHDOE website.

Please complete a separate survey for each child receiving special education services in your family. Thank you for your continued support and involvement in your child's education.

A message from Pam Murphy, RN DCS School Nurse

Recently, there have been numerous student requests for cough drops. As cough drops are considered medication, I am asking for your help in following the ConVal policy on medication administration at the elementary level. To do this, any medication, including cough drops, must be delivered to the school by a parent/guardian or their designated responsible adult in the original container. A written permission form is also required which is available at DCS.

Please reach out to me at pmurphy@conval.edu if you have any questions.
