K-5 Character Counts Star Trait is Courage!
“I try to be brave whenever I can be.”
These elementary students can make the right choices and decisions, even if they are difficult to make. They know and understand what is good, true, and right. These students can stand up with courage instead of hiding in fear of what is correct.
This month is an opportunity for everyone to come together to raise awareness, promote acceptance, and help build a society where autistic people are understood, respected, and supported. Whether you’re at home, at school, or at work, your involvement truly matters. It’s about how you show up, supporting autistic colleagues, children, family members, and friends. Through everyday actions and intentional choices, we can help create a more inclusive and accepting world for all.
- Franklin Academy supports the National Youth Violence Prevention Week, April 27–May 1, 2026.
- Its goal is to raise awareness and to educate students, school staff, and the community on effective ways to prevent or reduce youth violence.
- This week-long initiative includes lessons demonstrating the positive role youth can have in making their school and community safer.
We will be conducting an emergency lockdown drill In the month of April.
Families will be notified the day the drill will be performed, once the drill has been completed and that the campus is returning to its regualar schedule and activities.
