Summer Break is Near!
This is the last Wolverine Weekly that will be sent to the Class of 2026 and their families. But we hope that you will stay in touch and send us updates. Next year is Chap's thirtieth anniversary so we hope that you will visit the website and join us at an event. You are always part of the Family!
For the rest of our community, next week will be our summer edition will information about parking, calendars, bell schedules and so much more for the 2026- 2027 school year.
Thank you so much to all of our wonderful parents for your time, donations, and support. Your willingness to volunteer and give so generously helps make so many special things possible for our students and staff. We truly appreciate you!

Teacher Work Day- June 1
Congratulations to the Chaparral High School class of 2026! The Class of 2026 received many honors and were offered over $12.5 million dollars in scholarships. Every class makes us proud but this one seemed exceptional in the connections that they make with one another and with the staff. It is a class filled with amazing individuals whose overall descriptor would be kind. Thank you for all you have brought to Chap and remember that you are always part of the Chap family!
Summer Semester
Students who have failed a core class this year may want to look at our summer semester as a method of credit recovery. Here is some critical information::
Remember:
- Summer Semester begins June 2 through June 25
- Summer Semester is for credit recovery- not grade replacement or student advancement
- A maximum of two courses may be taken

From College Board:
SAT® registration is now open for fall 2026. Many colleges require or consider SAT scores as part of their holistic admission and placement decisions, and your score is a great way to show colleges you’re ready. This year, it will be more convenient to take the SAT on your schedule, with dates available every month through the end of the year, beginning in August, and the ability to join the Waitlist if the date or test center you prefer is already filled.
Most juniors take their first SAT in the spring, and many take it again in the fall of their senior year to improve their score. The SAT can help you keep your college options open, demonstrate your unique strengths, and even qualify for scholarships. And with 100% free practice resources, now including enhanced tailored practice based on your prior test scores and free small-group tutoring, you’ll have everything you need to get prepared.
Link Crew- Peach Sale
Our peach sale is the big fundraiser for Link Crew.
Due to the mild winter, the peach season on the Western Slope has been accelerated, and peaches will be ready on August 10!
Link Crew is entirely self-funded, and this fundraiser allows us to feed Link Crew leaders during training, buy pizza for freshmen at the finals study session in December, and purchase supplies, so every box that is sold helps!!
The store will close on August 4 at 3:00 p.m. Here is the link to our MySchoolBucks store (You do not need an account; you can check out as a guest).
