Bellaire is excited to welcome Grandparent's on campus Sept. 9th (PreK-2nd) and Sept. 10th (3rd-5th). Both dates are regular campus days so our doors will not open until 8:20 AM to welcome guests. We'll need to process everyone in before we can usher you down to the cafeteria or PreK classrooms, so please be patient as we make sure everyone in the building remains safe as we enjoy the day with one another.

• To try and control the number of visitors on campus at a given time, only two grandparents will be admitted per student. (If a grandparent requires adult assistance, that will count as one of the two allotted spots per child.)
• The invite required an RSVP so if you did not preregister by the due date we will not be accepting any on the spot reservations.
• The day is for grandparents so we ask that parents not take advantage of the time if grandparent's are not available. This is a grandparent's day celebration, let's maintain the integrity of the purpose for the day please.
• The time scheduled for the event is 8:30-9:30 AM.

The HISD Athletic Department would like to recognize your campus at one of our upcoming football games. We have 7 weeks of football left that we'd like to showcase your campus. What does this entail?

• Getting the message out to Bellaire community and Parents
• Teachers and staff get in to the game for free with their badge (any additional visitors can buy a pre-sale ticket from the Athletic office ahead of time or at the gate- $8 adults & $3 kids 6yo and up)
• Arrive to the game on November 1st
• Wear your school spirit shirts
• Your campus will be announced at the game to be proudly recognized before and during the game

• Game time is 7PM at Harlandale Memorial Stadium

Thankyou to everyone that was able to attend Open House on Wednesday night. Our teachers and staff love to connect with families because we understand that it takes a village to Build A Brighter Future For All. I wanted to share a few photos from the mariachi performance showcasing how proud we are of the only Elementary Mariachi group in the district! If your child is interested in joining mariachi or the guitar club reach out to Ms. Claudia Ayala, our wonderful mariachi sponsor, claudia.ayala@myhisd.net.

We are happy to accept volunteers on campus at any point during the school year. Please contact the front office to receive the paper work needed to get your clearance prior to volunteering on campus.

Shout out to our second graders for having the highest attendance percentage for weeks 2 & 3!

Students with perfect attendance for the entire school year will be entered into a raffle to win a bike! We have a total of six bikes to award so far. All you have to do is show up everyday!
