The following 39 schools have a 93% or better completion rate in BOTH iReady Reading and Math Diagnostic as of Thursday, January 16th at 4:30 p.m. Keep up the excellent work as there are many more who were so close as of this date. If your school experienced obstacles (absences, technology, etc.) please persevere this week as I am confident that this number will only grow more.

Winter Universal Screener Winter Universal Screener

Please ensure that all requirements of the Winter Universal Screener have been fully executed by 4:30 p.m. on January 31, 2025. All manual score entry must also be completed by this time. Anything entered after 4:30 p.m. will not be able to be considered a part of the Winter Universal Screener.

Encoding Universal Screener Guidance for Grades 4-6

TDOE has encoding guidance posted (previously shared in August) that remains unchanged from Winter. TDOE stated that the same word list can be used until they communicate updates.

Written Expression Rubrics

Please adhere to the scoring guidance offered in the associated rubrics for Written Expression. I apologize for failing to catch that two grade levels had scoring criteria that moved beyond a 4. The PowerApp has been updated to reflect the possible range. The purpose of providing an authentic writing task is to further connect back to student needs that can be addressed during writing opportunities in Tier 1 instruction, but if needed be further supported through a Tier 2 or 3 Written Expression Plan.

Vendor Ticket Updates Vendor Ticket Updates

PCG TNPulse

The vendor has shared that the B05 Advanced Report issue has been resolved. If you were experiencing "ghost plans" this has been resolved as a result of that. This week, please verify that your B05 report is pulling accurate data for your school as this is one of the primary reports used to inform MSCS PowerBi of Tier 2 and 3 plan information.

Pearson aimswebPlus Rostering

(Shared via email 1/17/25)

Note: This is not impacting all users.

Cause:

After a 45 minutes long troubleshooting phone call with Pearson aimswebPlus, I learned that the fix they applied to the platform Wednesday when the national outage occurred countered the fix that occurred for MSCS rostering issues during November and December.

Action being taken by Pearson:

They are actively working to resolve the issue, but do not have a time frame.

Next steps and considerations for you:

Please keep track of the students so you will be able to circle back when they do resolve the issue. This will most likely create an out of compliance alert in PowerBi that is beyond your control as the students may not be appearing in aimswebPlus for you to monitor.
