Principal Message
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Our short week is over and we are off for Spring Break until April 7th.
This week we had a science presentation in the grade 3/4 class, Hot Lunch organized by School Council and a picnic in the gym organized by Best Coach Mrs. Riggs.
When we come back we dive into a busy week. We have grade 4-6 Basketball club after school on Monday, Hot Lunch on Tuesday, Math Night on Wednesday and our first Bus to Swim on Thursday. After all that excitement students have Friday off as teachers have Professional Development.
On April 8th we have our spring pictures and Kinder Cap and Gown Pictures.
On Thursday those students are enrolled in Bus to Swim need to have their swimming things with them. Parents should also be making arrangements for students to be picked up upon return. For students not attending we have created a modified schedule that will focus on core subject support and student enrichment. Our K-1 will follow their regular programing, however there have been shifts to other classes to ensure we maximize core learning time for all students.
If you have any questions or concerns you can always reach out to the school through the office or email me at alanstoy@gypsd.ca.
Sincerely,
Alan Stoyles
Principal
