Impact Aid Survey
Stafford County Schools receive about $1,000,000 annually through the Federal Impact Aid Grant, which helps offset lost local tax revenue and supports our schools.
To qualify, we need all families to complete the annual Parent-Pupil Survey. This applies to children of active-duty service members, children whose parents work on eligible federal property, and students living on federal property or in federally subsidized housing.
Surveys were sent home last week. Please complete, sign, date, and return the survey to your child’s school as soon as possible. Your information is confidential.
New this year: Parents can now list all students in the same household on one form!
Fall Climate Surveys
If you have not done so already, please take a few moments to complete the Fall Climate Survey that was sent out a few weeks ago from the county. Your feedback is extremely important to us, as it helps guide our decisions, improve programs, and ensure we are meeting the needs of all students and families. The survey should only take a few minutes to complete. Every response matters and gives us insight into what’s working well and where we can grow.
October is National Bullying Prevention Month!
Bullying can be stopped, but it takes effort from all of us. This month, our counselors will teach lessons on recognizing and responding to bullying, while we continue to promote kindness, respect, and support across our school. We’ll end the month with a Spirit Week celebrating a positive, bully-free community!
Trunk or Treat
Our annual Trunk or Treat will be held on Friday, October 24th! Please help us make this event a success by donating bags of candy. Students can deposit their candy in the grade-level Monster Boxes located in the front lobby. Let’s see which grade can collect the most treats!
Veterans Day Speaker Request
Deadline is Friday, October 17th
We are getting closer to our Veterans Day Celebration and are looking for a guest speaker to help us honor the service and sacrifices of our nation’s veterans. If you are a veteran, or know a veteran in our school community who would be interested in speaking with our students during the program, we would love to hear from you! Your story and experiences would make this celebration truly meaningful for our students.
Please contact Jalita Johnson (johnsonjj@staffordschools.net) by 10/17 if you are willing to participate or would like to recommend someone.

STEAM Night is Coming Soon

To make that happen, we will need your help. If you are interested in volunteering or hosting a station, please let us know. Your participation is what makes this event special for our students. Whether you can attend, volunteer, or donate materials, your support is greatly appreciated and we’d love to have you involved! If you are interested in hosting, please RSVP here.
