BOOK FAIR

Our annual SPRING BOOK FAIR is back! Students will be shopping with their classrooms on February 26th, 27th, and 29th. Watch Me Work is Wednesday, February 28th and you are invited to shop the book fair with your student while you are at school. (Please discuss with teachers when would be the best time for you to stop by so that you don't miss any of your "Watch Me Work" time).

We need lots of volunteers to make the book fair run smoothly including help to set up, during shopping times, at check out, and during break down/clean up. Sign-up here to help students discover their perfect book!

For many of our young children, the book fair is one of the first times they get to be completely in charge of a shopping experience. It is such a powerful opportunity for them to figure out how to navigate how to make a choice within their budget. Yes, you may want to guide them on what book you think they would like but... often if it is self-selected book, they are more likely to read it/look at it.

So... sit back and allow your child to experience this important practical life moment! (But feel free to volunteer so you can watch the magic!)
