👋 Hello families

We have officially made it through Week 4 of the school year!

A few important things to know as we head into next week:

‼️ ELA Blocks:

Please check your canvas inbox for communication from me about which block your child will be in.

Block A: 9:35 - 10:45

Block B: 10:50 - 12:05

📚 Graded assignments will begin in all classes.

Please remind your child to check their modules daily so they know what assignments need to be completed.

✏️ Classwork will become more challenging.

We will be working with material that is more aligned to the 4th grade level rather than primarily review activities.

📝 More assignments will be coming home/being assigned.

We are going to gradually increase the amount of work as students become comfortable with our routines and expectations.

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns as we slowly jump into 4th grade material and begin adding more graded assignments. I am always happy to help!

My goal is to help every student feel confident, supported, and successful this school year. We are just getting started, and I am so excited to see what this group of students accomplishes!

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Math: 8:15 - 9:25
• ELA BLOCK A: 9:30 - 10:45 OR
• ELA BLOCK B: 10:50 - 12:05

Here’s more information about our normal schedule:

• Daily Live Classes For ALL Students

• Math: 8:15 - 9:25
• ELA Block A: 9:30 - 10:45 or ELA Block B: 10:50 - 12:05 (You will be notified on which block your child will be attending)
• Math Lab
• Monday through Friday 12:50 - 1:15
• I will let you know if your student will need to attend
• Extra math help

• RIMP
• Monday through Thursday 1:20 - 1:45
• I will let you know if your student will need to attend
• Extra reading help based off 3rd grade state reading test
• WIN
• This will be scheduled 1:1 time, conferences as needed, and screeners

Here are a few important dates for the next couple of weeks

• Monday, September 14: ELA Block A and ELA Block B start (you will get an email with which Block your child will need to attend)

• Monday, September 14: Title Groups start (you will be contacted if your child needs to go)

• Monday, September 21: RIMP and Math Lab will start (you will be contacted if your child needs to go to any of these)
