Message from the Principal

Dear School 8 Families,

Today is Friday the 13th—but nothing scary is happening here at School 8! Instead, we had a wonderful day filled with music and learning.

Our Grade 2 and Grade 3 students delivered a fantastic concert today that was enjoyed by many parents and staff members. We are very proud of our young performers and grateful to everyone who came out to support them.

March has started off with some very warm weather, and we are all hoping it continues so we can enjoy a beautiful, springlike season ahead.

Across the building, there is also a great deal of tutoring taking place as our students in Grades 3, 4, and 5 prepare for the upcoming NJSLA state assessments, which will begin on April 27. We appreciate the hard work of our teachers and students as they focus on building skills and confidence.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support of our school community.

Warm regards,
Ms. Mazzola

Attendance / Tardiness

It is very important to come to school each day and be on time. All students should line up at their grade level doors and when weather is bad or it is extremely cold then students can wait in the gym for their teachers. Try to arrive to school by 8:30 each morning.

******************************************************************************************************

😀Any students arriving late to school after 8:45 MUST be walked into main office by their parent. Parent must sign in with secretary. Student will be given a late slip to be admitted into their class.
