Principal's Update
Electronic Devices
As stated in the student/parent handbook: Using personal electronic devices including all smart devices is not permissible during the school day (including bus rides to and from school). If brought to school, all personal electronic devices including all smart devices must be turned off and kept inside their backpack. The school will not be responsible in the event that the device is lost, stolen, or damaged while on school property. Unauthorized student use of electronic devices during the school day will result in the device being confiscated. The device will be returned to the student and/or the parent after a conference with an administrator. In the event that a parent deems it necessary to contact their child during the school day, they may do so by contacting the main office directly.

Pink Out Day – Friday, October 16th
Join us Friday, October 16th, as we wear pink to raise awareness, show support, and honor all individuals and families affected by breast cancer. We encourage all students and staff to wear their favorite pink attire to show our strength and unity in honor of those fighting, the survivors, and those we hold in our hearts. Let’s fill our halls with pink!
Meet Ms. DeAngelis
Hi everyone! My name is Ava DeAngelis, and I am so excited to be back at Vinal this year as a kindergarten aide! Last spring, I had the opportunity to join the Vinal community as a long-term substitute in 4th grade, and I loved my experience here so much that I am thrilled to be back for another school year. This past December, I graduated from The Ohio State University, where I studied Human Development and Family Science. While at Ohio State, I was also a member and captain of the Women’s Swimming and Diving team. After spending so much time in the classroom last spring, I knew that education was the path I wanted to pursue. Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and friends, going to the beach, staying active, coaching swimming, and trying new restaurants and cafés. I grew up on the South Shore, so I am especially grateful to be starting my career in such a wonderful community so close to home. I am so happy to be back at Vinal and am looking forward to a great year getting to know our students and families!
