April MLC Recap
April Recap: A Month Full of Fun and Excitement!
April was bursting with fun, adventure, and unforgettable memories! From thrilling clubs to exciting field trips, our students made the most of every moment.
We kicked off the month with some amazing club choices that kept everyone engaged and smiling. The Ghost Hunting Experience Club was a favorite, filled with spooky stories, mystery, and laughter. Our Mystic Basketball League brought out the best in teamwork and friendly competition, and the Crochet Club gave us a cozy, creative space to sharpen our crochet skills and create something special. Plus, many more clubs kept our days filled with excitement!
Over spring break, we made even more memories. We had a blast celebrating Good Friday at Hampton Beach, enjoying the fresh air, sand, and sunshine together. We also visited the Ecotarium, where we explored nature, science, and all kinds of interactive exhibits that sparked our curiosity.
One of the most heartwarming highlights was our Easter egg hunt with our Tufts buddies! Everyone had so much fun searching for eggs, sharing laughs, and spending quality time with our wonderful college friends.
April was truly a month to remember—and we can’t wait to see what new adventures May brings!
MLC KID AND STAFF HIGHLIGHTS
Nilson and Bernardo!
This month we are excited to announce our Kid and Staff nominees: Nilson and Bernardo!
Nilson: After taking a break, Nilson returned with energy and dedication. He jumped right back into action, engaging with the kids and bringing positive vibes to each of his choices. His ability to reconnect and be present with the group has made a big difference, and we’re so happy to have him back!
Bernardo: We are so proud of Bernardo and the progress he’s made! From when he first joined us to now, he’s shown incredible growth, especially in using his English to communicate with staff and peers. Bernardo has been participating more in choices and stepping out of his comfort zone, and it’s been a joy to see his confidence shine.
Thank you, Nilson and Bernardo, for your hard work, dedication, and constant willingness to help and support everyone this month!

April NIGHT GROUPS Recap
April Night Groups Recap
This month, Night Groups was filled with laughter, fresh air, and unforgettable memories! With the start of the nice spring weather, we took full advantage, getting outside as much as possible to hang out at different local parks, enjoy the longer days, and just spend time together.
From friendly competitive games that brought out our team spirit, to chill arts and crafts sessions where creativity flowed, every night was packed with something fun. Whether we were playing hard or relaxing with friends, Night Groups gave us the perfect space to connect and unwind after a busy day.
It’s been such a fun experience watching everyone grow closer, try new things, and make lasting memories, and while we’re sad to see Night Groups almost come to an end, we’re so grateful for all the good times we’ve shared this April.
Here’s to finishing strong and making the last few nights just as awesome!
