🎓 Portrait of a Graduate ⭐
Each newsletter, we proudly highlight Wildcats who bring the Portrait of a Graduate to life. This month, we’re celebrating the incredible students behind our Cozy Blanket Drive, held in December. Their efforts showcased true Civic Engagement & Global Citizenship, as they collected warm blankets to support members of our community in need. Their dedication reminds us that even small acts of generosity can have a big impact. This is what it means to be a Wildcat.
PBIS Updates
Monthly School-Wide Character Trait: Fairness
This month we focus on Fairness — treating people equally, sharing, and taking turns. Families can talk about what is fair vs. unfair in everyday life. Ask your child: “What does it mean to be fair when playing a game with friends?”
At the end of the month, one student from each classroom will be recognized at our school assembly for showing fairness.
Wildcat WOW Time Is Coming to Walteria!
Walteria loves to celebrate students for making good choices. This includes classroom rewards, WOW tickets, raffles, and character awards! And we’re excited to share that Fridays are about to get even better!
Students will also be able to celebrate their excellent behavior during Wildcat WOW Time on Friday afternoons! Special equipment and jamming music will reward our Wildcats for being respectful, responsible, and safe. If students do not follow Walteria’s PBIS matrix, they may receive a Think Time Slip and may need time to reflect on making better choices. Let’s strive to be leaders, have fun, and do our best the Wildcat Way—every day!
