Welcome to our July edition of the Irons Junior High Parent Newsletter! Summer is flying by, and our team has been hard at work preparing for what is sure to be an incredible 2026-2027 school year. Here at Irons, we're excited to kick off our new campus theme, Hawk Studios: Lights, Camera, Excellence! This theme reminds us that every student has a unique story to tell and an important role to play in our school community. Together, we'll continue building a campus where relationships come first, excellence is the expectation, and every Hawk has the opportunity to shine.

In this month's newsletter, you'll find important back-to-school information, upcoming dates, and reminders to help your family get ready for the new school year. Be sure to mark your calendars for events like Football Equipment Pick-Up, Nest Fest, and the First Day of School as they will be here before we know it.

Enjoy these last few weeks of summer, continue making wonderful memories with your family, and know that we are counting down the days until our Hawks are back where they belong.

MAP Growth Family Reports

MAP Growth Assessment Family Reports have been uploaded to the Conroe ISD Home Access Center (HAC). The MAP Growth Family Report summarizes how your student is performing academically, as measured by the most recent MAP Growth test taken. To access the MAP Growth Family Report in HAC, navigate to the District Applications tab and click on "MAP Testing Reports". To learn more about the MAP Growth test, you can view the What is MAP Growth Video for Families (English) or Qué es MAP Growth-Video for families (Spanish). Additional information about MAP Growth can be found by visiting NWEA.org/familytoolkit.

Choosing dress code-approved items now will help your student start the year confidently and avoid having to change clothes during the school day.
