Congratulations to Evy Self and Coach Will McCrotty, November's Student and Employee of the Month!
"Evy is so helpful every day and sets a perfect example of behavior for other students to follow in my classroom. She is always polite and helpful to other students as well."
"Coach McCrotty has gone above and beyond all month. From integrating more literacy in Social Studies, to volunteering to help teach a Science class, as well as helping the custodial staff at the Center of the Arts clean up after the Hall of Fame luncheon. While others might avoid some messes, Coach McCrotty grabs a mop. He is the epitome of a Hall of Fame member in the Russellville School District"
"Coach McCrotty has gone above and beyond for out team both 6th and 7th to find ways to connect out learning with ELA. I have been so grateful for his initiative and leadership on our team."
"Does absolutely everything for the people around him! Helped not only me but my sub and students during my surgery absence."

Word of the Month: Teamwork
This month we’re challenging students to work together toward a common goal and shared purpose. We are partnering with you to grow and develop teamwork in your child. We can do this by modeling gratefulness, acknowledging positive moments, and affirming each other. Use this month’s activities to practice working together and celebrate your family as a team.
FYI:
HAC Information:
It is the goal of RMS teachers and staff to keep student grades updated weekly for parents and guardians to stay aware of their child's/children's progress throughout the semester. If you are having trouble accessing HAC (Home Access Center) you can email Stacee Frazier for help with login credentials.
Student Badges
7th Grade students will be issued badges in September. It is very important that students keep up with these ID badges throughout this school year. They will need them daily as a student at RMS. These badges are used in the library to check out books and with our athletic department to get into events for free. Please remind your student(s) to keep their ID badge with them in a safe place every day.
Lost & Found
The Lost and Found box is located outside the library. Please have your child check by the Library doors to see if something belongs to them. We clean the Lost & Found out at the end of each month.
Cell Phone Pouches
All students will start out the school year without a Yondr storage pouch. These pouches are used to store digital devices during the school day in order to ensure a safe and effective learning environment. These storage devices will limit distractions by securing students' cell phones, smartwatches, and earbuds during school hours. If a student has violated our cell phone policy, then they will be issued a storage pouch to help limit distractions.
If you or your student has a question, please email one of the admin team and we will get with them.
