Re-Enrollment Event this Saturday!
Re-Enrollment Event Happening Saturday, April 25, 2026 (9am-12pm)
Our team will be stationed outside on the playground during the re-enrollment event this Saturday, April 25th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. We’ll be available to assist families with the re-enrollment process, answer any questions, and provide additional support as needed.
You also have the option to re-enroll your child online. If you have any questions or need assistance with the process, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at hyde.addison@k12.dc.gov.
Why Re-Enroll Early?
Secure your spot and help us keep class sizes small!
Hyde-Addison must meet DCPS enrollment targets and benchmarks set by the district. When current families delay re-enrollment, the school offers spots to waitlisted students to meet these targets. As a result, late re-enrollments may lead to larger class sizes than expected. Re-enroll now to help us plan effectively and maintain our ideal class sizes!
How to Re-Enroll
Please complete SY26-27 enrollment by following two steps:
1. Complete the online DCPS enrollment packet at Enrolldcps.dc.gov (ask the main office if you need a paper copy)
2. Submit Valid Proof of DC Residency. Examples of residency documents are listed below. You can attach and and submit these documents at the end of the online Enrollment Packet (linked above).
What if we are NOT planning to attend Hyde-Addison next year?
We understand that for various reasons, not all students will re-enroll for Hyde-Addison ES next year. Our aim is always to be supportive of families as they make the best choice for their child and family, and to support with any transitions. If your child is not coming back next year, please fill out this short form to let us know! We will also use this information to remove you from the regular reminders to re-enroll.
Residency Verification Requirements
You can verify your residency by submitting ONE of the following:
- A valid pay stub issued within 45 days of the school’s review of this form. Must contain withholding of only DC personal income tax for the current tax year and no other states listed for deduction, even if the amount is zero. It must also show a DC personal income tax withholding amount greater than zero for both the current tax year and current pay period.
