Greetings Kindergarten Families,

I hope this finds you well on this Veterans Day. I'd like to again express my appreciation for ALL the loyal service men and women of the past and present. Thank you for your service! Thank you for our freedom!

A few quick reminders again this week:

• Please sign up for parent/teacher conferences!
• Note the FREE parent information event this Tuesday!
• Take note of the information about our high school football team's continued success.
• Mark your calendar for upcoming days with no school.

It is time to register for fall conferences. This is a time check in on your child’s progress and partner for future success. Kindergarten will be hosting fall conferences on the following dates:

• Monday, November 20th between 3:30 pm – 6:40 pm

• Tuesday, November 21st between 3:30 pm – 6:40 pm

• Wednesday, November 22nd between 7:30 am - 10:40 am

You may sign up for a timeslot through the ParentVUE portal, and select “Conference” from the menu along the left side. Use this link to view a tip sheet on how to navigate ParentVUE and sign up for conferences.

Our Veterans Day program was a big success. While our event is short and sweet, the veterans in attendance seemed to enjoy the interaction with our youngest students! We were thrilled to have so many veterans in attendance!

The internet can be an extremely helpful tool for students and families but it also can be unsafe. Join Mike Nelson, School Resource Officer as he will provide you with information about social media safety, drug education, E-cigs and various safety tips. There will be time for questions. This is a free presentation please preregister

NBAHS Vikings football is headed to U.S. Bank Stadium for the first time in school history after beating Benilde-St. Margaret in an action-packed 38-27 victory on November 9!

The Vikings play Hutchinson on Friday, Nov. 17 at 4:30 p.m. at U.S. Bank Stadium. Tickets can be purchased from the Minnesota State High School League through Ticketmaster here: https://www.ticketmaster.com/event/06005F4D1AB69E2B

Tickets can also be purchased onsite. The MSHSL does not offer cash sales. Prices are $10/students and $16/adults.

If you are unable to attend but would like to see the game, the MSHSL works through NSPN (http://nspn.tv/MSHSL) and offers all games via livestream for a fee. It is $10/month or $30/year for a subscription.

Staff are working on the logistics of possibly providing fan buses and there will be more information to come early next week.

NBAPS Early Learning includes kindergarten, preschool, parent/child classes, early childhood screening, and special education. Services are provided by caring staff in an environment designed specifically to meet the social-emotional and learning needs of young children.
