Principal's Message
Hello Pacific Drive Families!
Thank you all for your thoughts and efforts in communicating about the air conditioning here at Pac Drive. Student safety is our highest priority, and we definitely had to make some adjustments to ensure students were in cool classrooms this week due to the extreme outside temperatures. The district has been very supportive with our challenges, and we have had AC technicians on campus throughout the week working on AC units to make sure they are functioning at their best levels. We appreciate them!
We are hopeful that as the temperatures cool down into next week, that students can get back to their regular schedules, including recess and lunch outside as well as PE back outside. If you have any questions about the hot weather or how Pac Drive supports students and staff in inclement weather, please feel free to reach out to me through the main office.
Our ELAC and DELAC parent teams will start to meet again soon. If you are interested in being a part of our English Learner Advisory Committee, please reach out to Mrs. Hilda or Mrs. Rojo in our front office.
Thank you all and I look forward to seeing you soon!
