Welcome to Yocum's monthly newsletter! We will share good news from the previous month, as well as exciting things coming up. This month, we’re focusing on one of the most important skills our students can learn—responsibility. Throughout December, we are encouraging students to practice responsibility not only in the classroom, but also at home and within their community.

To help reinforce this idea, each student received a special key. This key serves as a reminder that they are in control—of their choices, their actions, and what they allow into their lives. Just like a real key, it symbolizes empowerment: students can choose what they let in and what they keep out.

We look forward to seeing our students continue to grow as responsible, thoughtful members of our school community!
