JUNE EVENTS
Family Fun Days
On June 17, Aldine families enjoyed an afternoon filled with games, bubbles, prizes, and popcorn! The FACE Team hosted the first Family Fun Day at Plummer MS. Not even the heat stopped the children and their famillies from having fun playing games and spinning the wheel. Everyone got a prize! Our second Family Fun Day will be Thursday, July 1 at Black ES from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Book Study
Our first Book Study came to an end. The English Book Study Group enjoyed talking about friendship and family ties while reading the book Granny Torrelli Makes Soup; while our Spanish Book Study Group engaged in conversations about the challenges of people who have immigrated to the United States while discussing the book Nacer Bailando.
JULY CELEBRATIONS
SAVE THE DATE
Our Back to School Drive-Thru EXPO will be on Saturday, August 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the M. O. Campbell Educational Center (MOC).
