Summer Resources & Important Dates

My name is Nicole Hoshock. I am the Student Support Advocate (SSA) at Evergreen Middle School. I am helping out at North Middle School until the end of August when Angelica Christensen returns from leave.

The first day of school is AUGUST 27, 2025.

Evergreen Middle School: Doors Open at 7:15AM. First Bell is at 7:25AM. School Starts at 7:30AM.

North Middle School: Doors Open at 8AM. First Bell is at 8:10AM. School Starts at 8:15AM.

North Middle School orientation for the 2025-2026 school year will be on August 22, 2025 from 2:30 - 5PM in the North Commons. Please visit www.everettsd.org/northms for more information about North Middle School.

• 8/11: North Office Reopens (9:00am to 3:00pm, closed 12:00pm to 1:00pm)
• 8/25: Normal North Office Hours Begin (7:30am to 4:00pm)
• 8/27: First day of the 2025/2026 school year! (8:15am Opening Bell!)
• 9/1: No School (Labor Day Holiday)
• 9/13: Happy Birthday, North! (TBD community event)

Evergreen Middle School orientation for the 2025-2026 school year will be on August 21, 2025 from 4-8PM. Schedule pick up, sign up for ASB, buy PE clothing, pay any class fees, order yearbook, etc. No pictures. Also, sign up for sports, learn about clubs and after school activities.

Clothing:

Operation School Bell & Clothes for Kids (https://clothesforkids.org ) will be available to families this school year. More information will be provided as we receive it from these organizations.

Backpacks:

Backpacks with some school supplies will be available for your student this school year. Most likely distribution will occur after the first day of school.

Transportation: Please check for your students bus route at https://www.everettsd.org/busroutes . Routes and pick up time may have changed.

Free/Reduced Lunch applications: Although our schools (North and Evergreen Middle School) do provide free breakfast, lunch and after school snack to all students it is important to complete the Free/Reduced lunch application if you believe your family qualifies to ensure your student receives additional resources tied to this eligibility such as FREE SPORTS, FREE ASB cards and activities, REDUCED yearly memberships to YMCA, allows families to apply for REDUCED PUD rates, as well as many other additional community resources.
