As we prepare for the upcoming holiday season, our participants have been practicing an important functional skill: setting the table. This activity supports independence, motor planning, sequencing, and social participation all essential components of Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). From placing utensils in the correct order to arranging plates, napkins, and cups, participants are gaining confidence while contributing to a shared routine. These skills not only enhance everyday independence but also prepare them to take an active role in family and community holiday traditions.

Our participants recently embarked on an exciting Community-Based Instruction (CBI) trip to Lifetown! This hands-on experience allowed them to explore real-world environments, practice functional skills, and engage in meaningful social interactions. From navigating the space to participating in structured activities, each participant had the opportunity to build independence, confidence, and practical life skills in a fun and supportive setting.

A special thank you to ERC Charities for sponsoring our trip and making this experience possible!
