Friday Updates

Dear SHS Families,

With the start of the month this week, we’ve been looking ahead at all the exciting things going on this month at the school. Beginning with the SHS Float that will be in the Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 7th. Students who wish to ride and walk with the float will need to be at Forrest Park at 10:30 to find our spots in the line. We will drop everyone off in the SHS parking lot after we’ve completed our run through the parade. You are also welcome to join in at Turkey Bingo held at the Parish Hall that evening. Come in to enjoy some chili and possibly walk away with a turkey for your family’s Thanksgiving celebration.

Next week, we will have our second annual SHS Parent Mixer beginning at 6:30 in the Parish Hall. We hope to see you all there and encourage you to pass the flier in this newsletter along to anyone who might be interested in learning a little bit more about the school. There are still a few spots open if anyone is interested in childcare during the event. Contact the school office to reserve your spot.

VIP RSVP’s have been coming into the school office. Thank you to all the families that have gotten those in for us. Having these numbers helps make our VIP brunch operate smoothly. If you haven’t gotten your family’s RSVP returned to the school, I encourage you to get that in early next week.
