Cap & Gown FAQ
Q: Can my Senior use a sibling/friends gown or do they have to purchase a new one?
A: Graduates are welcome to re-use a gown worn in a Madison graduation,. Students are not required to purchase a new gown if they have access to a gown that fits them properly and is the exact royal blue worn by MHS graduates. Note - graduates will likely still need/want to purchase a new Cap & Tassel. It is possible to purchase a Cap & Tassel only on jostens.com
Q: Will graduates be able to decorate their Caps (Mortar Board) this year?
A: At this time, graduates are permitted to decorate their Caps for graduation (per the guidelines communicated to students).
Q: I would like to have Senior photos taken in my cap & gown, when will they arrive?
A: Caps & Gowns will not arrive before late April/early May. We do have a handful of spare gowns available for students to borrow for photos if needed before caps & gowns are distributed (contact Mrs. Thomas if interested in borrowing a gown for photos)
