Founded in 1997, Lonestar Coachlines started operating from Grafton and Coffs before moving to the Gold Coast in 2002. The founder, Les Bultitude, who was the Operations Manager for a large New South Wales North Coast operator prior, started Lonestar Coachlines with a 24-hour roadhouse and 48 staff members, but only one driver, himself.

Over the next two decades, the company grew into an esteemed and trusted charter service in Queensland and New South Wales.
