Bus routes were updated this weekend. Students who ride 2214 and 2015 are still on the same bus, but please check the myRide app to make sure stops and times are the same.

The students that were on 2320 were split between 2320 and our new bus, 2322. Please check your student's bus number, stop location, and pick-up and drop-off times.

We are excited for this year's school musical, The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley! Students in grades 4-6 are eligible to audition, and auditions will be held THIS FRIDAY, so sign up ASAP!

Dear parents of 1st grade students.

The Davis District participates in many activities to gather information about how students are doing with various skills that impact learning and educational needs. These activities are typically given to all or many students in various grade levels and are considered a general "screening," and include vision screening and hearing screening for all students at certain grade levels and also the screenings given at the beginning and end of Kindergarten. Another screening our district has implemented is a language screening with all 1st grade students. This screening was conducted with all 1st grade students last year and is one we are conducting again this year.

The language screener has students repeat 16 sentences which are read orally and individually to them. The information gleaned from this screener allows for a general assessment of student language ability with grammatical forms including the use of verbs and correct word tenses. This information helps us know where students are as they begin 1st grade so we can monitor their skill growth and support any needs or concerns through class-wide or more individualized instruction.

We will be screening our 1st grade students on September 24, 2025. If you do not want your student to participate in the language screener, please contact the front office and/or your student's 1st grade teacher. Your student will not participate in the screening if we receive notification from you.
