Progress Reports (K–5)
We're nearing the end of the first quarter of the 2025–2026 academic year. Progress reports will be shared with kindergarten through fifth grade families on Friday, October 10. This year, progress reports will be created and distributed via a new-to-GLOBE software called Toddle. In addition to progress report dissemination, we'll also eventually use Toddle for student portfolios and announcements. To learn more about Toddle, please click here. In the meantime, we need each of you to connect to your child's Toddle account. Last Friday, you should have received an email directly from Toddle with instructions to do so. Connecting to Toddle by following the directions found in that email is the only way you’ll have access to your child’s progress report and eventual student portfolio.
School Pictures are Here and Ready to View!
Instructions to view, purchase, and request a retake can be found here.
If your student was absent or unable to have their photo taken, they are automatically placed on the retake list. Photo retake day is Friday, October 24. For grades K–5, class photos will be taken on that day.

Important Note for all LC Walkers for THIS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 3
Parent parking for registered Walkers will move to the North Druid Hills Rd end of the Northbridge Church parking lot this Friday, October 3 (see map). This will be for one day only as they have a group using their top and side parking lots.
Hispanic Heritage Month Performance time change
Please make a note that the performance will now start at 1:15pm (instead of 1:30pm). The date, Friday, October 10, remains the same.
Access to Community and Respect Buildings
The main entrances to both the Community and Respect Buildings are controlled via an intercom and buzzer system. When entering either building, please use the intercom then wait to be buzzed in. Even when someone is exiting the building as you’re standing there, please allow the door to close and be remotely unlocked by office personnel. Also, when you’re exiting either of those doors, please do not hold it open for anyone else to enter.
LC Library
Helper applications are officially closed for the semester.
The Fall 2025 Library Helpers will be announced via email on Friday, October 3.
Book checkout for 2nd–4th grade is now open for the school year
Before a student can check out books, however, their parent/guardian must complete the 2025-2026 Library Contract. You can complete this contract here. Kindergarten and 1st grade parents/guardians may also submit a contract for their students, but checkout will open later in the semester for these grades.
Afternoon Dismissal
It’s imperative that cars do not enter the main parking lot, nor line up on Azalea Circle or North Druid Hills before 2:30pm. If you must arrive in the area before then, we encourage you to park at Bridgepoint Church parking lot and use our walker option.

Crossing Guard Update
We are pleased to share that the DeKalb County Schools Public Safety Department has agreed to provide training for the crossing guards hired by GLOBE. This agreement has been a long time in the making, and we are grateful for their commitment. Each crossing guard we hire will now receive the required two days of training directly from the department. We are excited to offer this important service to our families while ensuring full compliance and ongoing support throughout the process. We are still seeking qualified candidates for the available Crossing Guard positions, click here for information.
GLOBE's Transportation Ridership Program provides morning and afternoon bus transportation between a satellite hub and the Lower and Upper GLOBE campuses. The hub is located at the Exchange Recreation Center : 2771 Columbia Dr, Decatur, GA 30034.
