Preschool registration for the 2025-2026 school year will open up on January 31, 2025. You must be a resident of Ridgefield Park to apply and your child must be 3 years old or 4 years old by October 1, 2025. Placements are based on availability and a lottery may be done if we receive more applicants than there are spots. Please check our website for news, updates, and links.

In preparation for registration, the following required documentation will be needed when preschool registration opens up. Visit our website on January 31, 2025 for a registration link.

• Child's birth certificate

• Parent identification

• Lease or deed

• Two bills with current address

• Physical within the last year and immunizations

All registration MUST be done online however if you need assistance, you can attend one of our in person registration at 65 Challenger Road, Suite 360, Ridgefield Park on the following dates:

• February 11 from 8:30 am - 10:30 am
• February 19 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
• February 27 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

You must register in advance for these sessions. Scheduling information will be available soon.

If your child is going to kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year, you can begin to register them now. Please go to our district registration page for more information.

January 29, 2025 from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm, the NJDOE is offering teachers, families, and administrators to the basics of implementing developmentally appropriate practices for preschool students with disabilities, no matter what setting they are educated in. They will discuss how to encourage powerful play by preparing the environment, engaging in meaningful interactions, recognizing developmental processes, and teaching essential play skills to all children.
