March 3, 2022

Dear D230 Families & Students,

Due to anticipated severe weather conditions as reported by the National Weather Service, District 230 will utilize an early release day tomorrow (3.4.23) at 1pm for Sandburg, Stagg and Andrew High Schools. All after-school co-curricular activities are cancelled.

The weather service predicts the potential of snow and high winds beginning late morning through the afternoon. This weather pattern has many factors that could result in a much different day than predicted due to the unique time of year for snow and the chance the snow may not be realized if temperatures are higher than predicted.

Due to the variability of this potential weather pattern, there remains a possibility of an e-learning day. If District 230 feels the need to utilize an e-learning day tomorrow, that determination will be made before 5am Friday morning.

Thank you in advance for your continued support and flexibility as we navigate this "winter" storm.

Be safe,

Dr. Bob Nolting
