Charlotte FC Captains Academy
Captains Academy is CLTFC's leadership program for ALL High School and College student-athletes. It's led by internationally recognized leadership and sports performance coach Jeremy Boone, founder of Winning Leader, LLC. and Desire To Lead™. More than just a 'character building' and 'do the right thing' approach, here are some examples of what we will cover over the course of our live events this school year:
A definition of leadership that can be used in EVERY area of life (and NO, it's not just about influence)
- How to make better decisions that get better results
- How to speak with more impact, influence, and persuasion
- How to immediately build trust and reliability
- Why being COMMITTED isn’t enough to accomplish your mission
- How to protect your mission and hold others accountable the right way
- Why you need a mindset of 'Beyond Winning'
- How to think like Leaders who have REAL impact
- How to have difficult conversations with your teammates, coaches, and family
- What happens when you 'live behind a label' and how to breakthrough to be a magnetic leader
- How YOU can learn to lead others and make the most of the STUDENT-ATHLETE EXPERIENCE even if you're not a senior
- Why CHASING CONFIDENCE can keep you from being your best... and what to do instead
- Plus more!!!
In addition, athletes will get to hear from community leaders, meet other leaders within CLTFC, and even have a unique opportunity to give back to the Charlotte community.
Students have an opportunity to attend September 22 or November 16.
If you are interested in attending email Mr. Ball at rball@riverwalkacademy.com by Monday, September 16 with the date you wish to attend.
