Welcome Back KISD Staff!
KISD Team,
Welcome back.
Before we begin another school year together, I hope you'll take a few minutes to watch the message above.
You'll hear from the people who matter most in our work: our students. Their words are a reminder that the time you invest, the encouragement you give and the relationships you build make a lasting difference.
As we prepare to welcome students back, thank you for everything you do each day. Whether you teach in a classroom, drive a bus, prepare meals, maintain our facilities or support our campuses in countless other ways, you help create opportunities for students to learn, grow and succeed.
I'm grateful to serve alongside each of you. Thank you for choosing Killeen ISD, and thank you for making a difference in the lives of our students.
Let's have a great school year.
Dr. King Davis
Superintendent
Your Work is Making a Difference
This week, district leaders visited several Killeen ISD campuses to celebrate the hard work and dedication reflected in encouraging preliminary accountability results.
The official accountability ratings will be released next week, and we'll have more to share then. In the meantime, we wanted to take a moment to recognize the progress we're seeing across our district and thank every employee for the role you play in helping students succeed.
Whether you're serving students in the classroom, on a bus, in a cafeteria, in an office or behind the scenes, your work matters. The progress we're seeing is the result of thousands of daily moments of teaching, supporting, encouraging and caring for our students.
We're proud of the work happening across Killeen ISD, and we look forward to sharing more next week.
