Thank you Kroger!
We would like to extend a huge thank you to the Kroger Company Return to School Program for their generous donation of $2000 for our athletic facilities and $500 in teacher care packages for our hard working staff.
Through the Return to School Program, customer purchases of partner products in local Kroger stores help give back to schools.
Thank you again to the Kroger Company Return to School Program for this generous donation to our schools!
Working on Weavings
Districtwide Art Classes have been working on creating different types of weavings!
Kindergarten through Fifth Grade have been working on varying levels of weaving from cutting skills and patterns in Kindergarten, to paper plate weavings in Fifth Grade.
Middle School Art Students planned and implemented patterned designs in paper weavings.
High School Art Students created yearn weavings.
Take a look at all of this creativity!
Working with letters!
This week, Ms. Dickie's Kindergarten Class worked on identifying words with the letters V and X!
Putting it all together!
Our Eighth Grade Algebra I Students wrapped up their linear equations unit with a matching culmination project, using critical thinking to make meaningful mathematical connections!
Tigers Read
Today in Tigers Read, students enjoyed a fun-filled visit with their buddies! They practiced their reading skills by sharing their Decodable Readers and celebrated the season by working on Valentine’s activities, strengthening both literacy skills and connections with their buddies.
Happy Valentine's Day!
To get excited for Valentine's Day tomorrow, Grandview Elementary Students celebrated with parties where they made cookies, shared snacks and valentines, and watched movies!
Happy Valentine's Day!
