Your support plays a vital role in shaping the future of our school and ensuring continued opportunities for our students.
Thank you for being a valued part of the Plato community. Together, we can continue building a strong, inspiring, and enriching educational experience for our children.

Celebrating Our Math Stars at Mighty Mu Math Competition
Plato Academy Palm Harbor is back at the Mighty Mu Competition after many years! We're incredibly proud of our students who dedicated their time to compete in math challenges and represent their school with such enthusiasm.
We had teams from 4th to 8th grade competing across various divisions, and they truly shined. Some standout performances include our 5th-grade team taking second place overall in the 6th-grade middle school math division. Hannah, also in 5th grade, placed sixth overall in the same division. Gabriel secured second place overall in the middle school mental math competition, and David took second place overall in the Rubik's Cube competition.
We are so proud of our students!

Olympics Opening Ceremonies at St. Petersburg and Clearwater
Students at Plato Academy offered a glimpse into the past during the opening ceremony of their annual Olympic Games. Young girls, dressed as ancient Greek priestesses, known as "ieries," performed the annual ceremony of the lighting of the Olympic flame, an event that is taking place in Olympia, Greece before the beginning of the Olympic Games.

Student Spotlight
Gifted Department
Plato Academy St. Petersburg’s Gifted Department is proud to spotlight 8th grader Adan G., a remarkable student whose dedication to academics and extracurricular pursuits sets him apart.
Adan is courteous, kind, and highly intelligent—a true scholar with a passion for learning. His interests span a wide range of subjects, particularly meteorology and current affairs, and he frequently researches and writes essays on his favorite topics purely for enjoyment.
A stellar student, Adan has consistently earned a place on the Principal’s or Honor’s List throughout his time at Plato Academy St. Petersburg. He has excelled in standardized testing, scoring 5’s on the FSA/FAST in all subjects since 5th grade, when he also achieved a perfect 5 in Science.
Beyond academics, Adan is an accomplished athlete, playing for both the hockey and basketball teams. He has also been a dedicated competitor in Odyssey of the Mind since 6th grade, helping his teams secure 2nd and 3rd place in regionals and advancing to the state level, where they placed 5th in 2022-2023.
Adan’s passion for history is equally impressive. In 2023-2024, he earned 1st place in The Great History Challenge, advancing to Nationals in Chicago, where he placed 11th out of 450 participants! This year, he once again secured 1st place in the Regional Great History Challenge and will compete at Nationals in Orlando this May.
We couldn’t be prouder of Adan and his incredible achievements. He exemplifies the values of Plato Academy—academic excellence, perseverance, and a love for learning. We look forward to seeing all he will accomplish in the future!
