In Science, students are continuing to learn about the Periodic Table, how to read the Periodic Table, and how to balance chemical equations.
As part of our daily independent reading, students will have a quarterly project for one of the books they finished. Students are reading short stories to understand how authors build suspense through point of view, setting, conflict and irony. Students will be bringing home their results from the iReady Beginning of Year Inform. Please review them with your student and help them set goals to be successful this year.
Social Studies classes are working to understand the causes and effects of colonial conflict with Great Britain leading to the American Revolution.
In Math, students are working to understand Dilations and Similarity.
