Settling In & Starting Strong
We had a wonderful first week of school! Thank you to our families for your patience, flexibility, and understanding as we work through some of the beginning-of-the-year details, including drop-off and pick-up lines, busing, and other routines. We know the first week can bring a few bumps along the way, and we truly appreciate your support as we get everything running smoothly. We are excited for a great year ahead and are so happy to have our students back!

Immunizations
Immunization Reminder for Middle School Families
Parents of middle school students only need to submit updated immunization records when their child receives the required Tdap and Meningococcal vaccines. Minnesota law requires students to receive these vaccines before the start of 7th grade, or have a completed exemption form on file. Please submit updated vaccination records or exemption documentation to the school health office.

As many of you know, Oak-Land Middle School Athletics is now operating under Community Education. While the organizational structure has changed, our commitment to providing an outstanding experience for our student-athletes has not.
We remain dedicated to creating a positive environment where students can grow, compete, build confidence, and develop valuable life skills both on and off the playing surface. Register here.

What You Need to Know:
Registration Fees:
You may have noticed that the participation fee has increased to $199 per season. While we understand this is an increase from previous years, we believe it continues to provide tremendous value. Student-athletes receive a 7-week season, practices four days per week, transportation, quality coaching, and a full schedule of games and competitions.
Transportation:
There are no major changes to transportation. We will continue to provide bussing for all sports. There may be a few minor adjustments, such as shuttle buses or sharing buses with other teams, but families should expect transportation to operate much as it has in previous years.
Competition & Schedules:
There are no changes to our competition schedule. We will continue to compete in the Metro/Suburban East Middle School Conference while also seeking additional quality competition that provides meaningful opportunities for athletes of all ability levels.
Coaching:
There are no changes to our coaching philosophy or expectations. Our programs will continue to be led by dedicated, knowledgeable coaches who are passionate about teaching their sport and committed to providing a positive, challenging, and enjoyable experience for every student-athlete, regardless of skill level.
While there have been a few changes behind the scenes, our mission remains exactly the same—to provide a fun, competitive, and rewarding athletic experience for every student-athlete. We appreciate your continued support and partnership as we begin this new chapter, and we look forward to another outstanding year of Oak-Land Middle School Athletics.
