2026 - 2027 Vol. 1 ~ January 8th
2026 Welcome to the New Year!
This time of year is a great opportunity to set new goals as a family. Whether big or small, goals can be incredibly rewarding and help us all reach our full potential!
The first half of the school year has been amazing, and we’re excited for an even better second half. Please continue to have conversations at home about the importance of attendance, completing assignments, and solid study skills for exams.
The entire PHS staff is looking forward to an outstanding 2026!
Parent/Teacher Conferences
We aim to foster strong communication and partnerships with our families. To that end, Parent/Teacher conferences will take place from January 20th -23rd. Teachers will be contacting the parents of students facing academic challenges (students with a D or F in a class). If you don’t hear from a teacher but would like to schedule a conference for any reason, please feel free to call or email, and they will find a convenient time for you that week.
Seniors
Senior students will have monthly class meetings from now until graduation in preparation of the big day! Seniors, if you are doing an internship, school flex, or any other program during Academic advisory, please plan to be at school on class meeting days to discuss this important information regarding graduation!
Remember to see Ms. Ingersoll about scholarship opportunities - don't delay!
Graduation Date: May 17th
Time: 6:00 PM
Project Graduation will take place after graduation - Time: TBD

Dear Parents/Guardians,
Pacific High School will host the Children’s Advocacy Center or CAC to present a sexual abuse prevention training to students grades 9 -12 on January 26, 2025. These presentations meet the guidelines of RSMO 170.045 as outlined by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
Parents and guardians, please note the presentation materials discuss sensitive topics related to sexual abuse prevention. We encourage viewing the materials and videos for additional information.
The Parent Opt-Out Letter is attached for parent/guardians who prefer their student NOT to participate in the CAC presentation on sexual abuse prevention. Please return the letter to the counseling office. If you cannot print this letter, please contact the counseling office at 636-271-1414 and a letter will be provided to you.
For more information and the Kids’s Rights Program curriculum presented by the CAC, please visit this website, https://www.playitsafe.org/curriculum_gradelevels.php. This site includes a summary of the presentation, along with video trailers used in the presentations.
Power Lunch & Academic Focus Time
Power Lunch is designed to provide academic support and enrichment. Students do not need to be failing a course in order to seek assistance; all students are encouraged to meet with content experts during A Lunch. For those who are current with their assignments, a variety of alternative activities are also available on Power Lunch days.
Students are familiar with accessing their grades through Infinite Campus and will complete a grade check every Monday during Academic Advisory. We encourage families to continue these academic conversations at home to further support student success!
