February Interim Grade Report
Handbook Change - Artificial Intelligence
Due to recent legal decisions in the Commonwealth, we are revising the "Academic Honesty" section of the Handbook for Students and Families to specifically include generative artificial intelligence (AI). This revision was approved by the school committee at its February meeting. Simply put, AI has acceptable educational uses, but using it to create student work is not one of them and will be handled the same way as plagiarism and cheating. Many teacher have begun using software that can help detect generative AI in student work. Please click here to review the revised Academic Honesty section of the Handbook.
