Update: Construction Alert

🚧 Construction Update – Thursday, August 27

Dear Fairfax Families,

I communicated with city officials this afternoon and wanted to provide an important update regarding construction work that will begin tomorrow, Thursday, August 27!

Construction will begin tomorrow, Thursday, August 27, 2026, with the following plan:

7:00 AM: Grinding will begin promptly on Wellington (Wellington and Fairfax).
By 8:00 AM: The crew expects to be down to Monmouth Road and Wellington. Hopefully, out of the way of the school traffic.
Traffic: Flaggers will be on site to help maintain traffic flow and safety.
By 1:00 PM: The entire street of Wellington is expected to be completed.

Please plan accordingly and allow a little extra time in the morning for possible traffic delays.
