What’s New from Admin
Dear Selma Middle School Families,
As we move into our third week of school, we want to continue building strong routines that set our students up for success. One area we are focusing on this week is morning habits—making sure students get up on time and arrive at their bus stop ready so they don’t miss the bus. We’ve noticed a few students struggling with this, and we want to work together to build consistency and confidence in the mornings.
Here are a few reminders to support your child’s routine:
⏰ Get Up on Time – A consistent bedtime and morning routine helps students wake up rested and ready for school.
🚌 Be at the Bus Stop Early – Students should be at their bus stop at least 10 minutes before pickup time to avoid missing the bus.
📚 On-Time Arrival = More Learning – The earlier and more consistently students arrive, the less instruction they miss, and the stronger their learning habits become.
At Selma Middle, student growth is at the forefront of everything we strive for. The more our students are present, on time, and engaged, the more opportunities they have to reach their full potential. Together, we are building a culture where every student has the opportunity to Learn More, Do More, Be More!
With gratitude,
SeMS School Administration

Bus App for Parents/Guardians
Parents/Guardians should use the link below to add the app to their phone to track their students bus!
Reminder: During the first couple of weeks of school, bus drivers are still learning their routes and new students may be added. Because of this, buses could run up to 15 minutes earlier or later than the scheduled time. Please plan to allow a little extra time at your bus stop as routes settle in.
