Great Job Ethan...Making Tawanka Proud!
Jackets and Labels
The cold weather does not stop us from going outside for recess. Please make sure your student is dressed appropriately to go outside all year long (winter jacket, hat, gloves). If the temperature is too cold (below 20 degrees with wind chill, "feels like" on most weather apps) we will be indoors, but aside from cold or rain we try to get our students outside as much as possible. It is even better if their cold weather gear is labeled so it doesn't get lost!
Paint Night Success
Thank you to Mrs. Sherwin and the PTO for organizing this year's paint night. We had a bunch of young and old artists show up to create a beautiful snowman painting!
Tawanka Students are Phanatical about Reading!
Tawanka is working hard to try to get the attention of a furry green mascot based out of South Philadelphia.
A Note from the Nurse
Sick Season...
Flu season is here, and this year the flu is spreading very easily. We want to help keep our students, families, and staff healthy! The best way to stop germs from spreading is by practicing good habits every day.
