2025-2026 Master Schedule Pilot Day
If you have not already heard, here is an early heads up that Tuesday, May 6th will be a Master Schedule Pilot Day for the 2025-2026 school year. This pilot is designed to help campus staff test and iron out any possible kinks in the new system before full implementation next year. We are also planning for a possible second pilot day on Friday, May 9th, if needed.
While finalized details are still being completed, here are a few important things to know as you begin planning:
-
The school day will still begin at 7:30 AM as normal.
-
All students will dismiss at 3:00 PM.
-
Magnet classes will take place during the school day on May 6th, meaning there will be no after-school magnet sessions.
-
Students will remain in their classes until the 3:00 PM dismissal; there will be no early transition to holding areas, as was done earlier this school year.
A full preview of the pilot schedule will be shared in the upcoming Parker Pulse on Sunday, May 4th, and staff will receive finalized details later this week.
Thank you for your flexibility and support as we work toward a smooth launch of next yearβs schedule!
-Principal Carter
Concert Attire Reminder
As we approach the end-of-year concert season, please remember that students must be in full concert uniform in order to perform.
The required performance attire includes:
- Red Parker performance shirt (tail tucked in)
- Black slacks (no jeans)
- Black socks
- Black dress shoes (soles must be black)
Thank you for helping our performers look sharp and professional on stage!
Congratulations Parker Band πΊπ₯π
The Parker Band attended the Meyerland Performing and Visual Arts Solo & Ensemble Competition on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Parker Band received 32 First Division Solo medals and 17 students received 1st Division medals in their ensembles.
Literacy Night π
Thank you for everyone who participated in Literacy Week and attended Literacy Night. As a campus we read 18,328 minutes over the course of Literacy Week! We more then tripled our goal of 5,000 minutes. As promised, Mr. Carter and the Assistant Principals will dress up as babies for the students on Tuesday. Weβll also begin to pass out the individual rewards this week. Students are already looking forward to seeing our leaders as babies!
If you attended Literacy Night, we would love to hear your feedback by filling out this survey.

π AFTER CARE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & THANK YOU!!!π
During After School Care on Friday, Aubree P., Stella Y., and Harper Z. took the initiative to clean up trash around the playground, helping to make our school community look presentable. The After Care Crew would like to thank these students for their thoughtful actions and commitment to keeping our school looking its best.
April Character Education Themes: Trustworthiness, including Honesty, Reliability, Punctuality and Loyalty.
This month, during morning announcement, weβre focusing on Trustworthiness, a key trait that helps children build strong friendships and succeed in school.
Week 1 - Honesty: Being honest means telling the truth and not pretending. Have courage to do the right thing. This week, try to be honest in your words and actions.
Week 2 - Reliability: Being reliable means doing what you say you will do and being someone others can trust and count on. This week, try to keep your promises and be a reliable friend.
Week 3 - Punctuality: Punctuality is being on time. Itβs showing up when youβre supposed to, so others can depend on you. This week, try to be on time for your school and other activities.
Week 4 - Loyalty: Loyalty is sticking by your friends and family, especially when they need support. This week, show loyalty by being there for your friends and family, sticking by their side and helping them through tough times.
Week 5 - Being Trustworthy: Trustworthiness is putting honesty, reliability, punctuality, and loyalty together. This week, be trustworthy by showing your friends and family they can count on you.
You can encourage trustworthiness at home by praising honesty, setting a good example, and giving your child responsibilities to build confidence. Letβs work together to help our students grow into trustworthy individuals.
Thank you for your support!
