10.12.25 Family Newsletter
Parent/Family Newsletter, 10.12.25
Tomorrow, Monday, October 13th is a teacher work day, therefore no school for students.
PTO will begin their Boo-Gram sales on Tuesday and they will run through the 29th. Make sure you visit their website below for all information regarding this.
This week, October 13-17, is National School Lunch Week. This is an annual celebration that promotes the importance of healthy school meals and recognizes the hard work of school nutrition professionals. We have the best of the best working here at QCE in our cafeteria. So when you see them this week make sure you tell them thank you! They work hard each and every day to cook hot meals for our students to enjoy.
Afternoon car rider procedure: Dismissal is a very important time of the day. We want to make sure all students are safe and get to where they belong with safety in mind. Parents- If you do not have a green car tag, you will need to park in the parking lot and wait until 3:45 to check your student out. If you arrive before 3:45, you will be asked to wait outside the main doors. A photo ID will be required for everyone when checking out. Thank you for you cooperation and understanding with this procedure.
Booster-Thon UPDATE
We can not say THANK YOU enough for the amazing support we received during the Booster-Thon and Fun Run on Friday!! We are so thankful that the weather turned out great and so many family members came out to support their student(s). Pictures from the event were posted on our school Facebook Page.
Currently, we are at just under $12,000! That is AMAZING!!!! But we want to see how close we can get to our goal of $20,000 so we are leaving our pledging open for one more week! If we can get to $15,000, there will be a chance for you to SILLY STRING your principal and assistant principal!!! We are so close.
Staff Member Shout Outs
One thing we love to do here at Queens Creek is celebrate! Celebrate all things! So lets start shouting out some staff members that have gone above and beyond for your student(s) or family. Please complete the form below if you want them to be recognized! Our staff is one in a million. :)

For those students that did not get to see the SMILES Dental Clinic last month, they will be returning on Thursday and Friday, the 16th and 17th.
Fun Fact:
A lack of water can cause a range of problems, such as constipation, asthma, allergy and migraines. Staying hydrated is an important aspect of our overall wellbeing.
